her eternal summer: an insider's guide

this blog has had a few identity crises, but i think it's finally settled with "her eternal summer." only problem is, i usually come up with what i think are great, inspiring ideas, only to find out that no one else has a clue what i mean.

so, to explain this most recent and, i think, most fitting blog title

the "her" is pretty self-explanatory: me.

eternal summer. here's where it might get a little tricky if you're not inside my head.

i love summer. i love everything about it. i love being hot, i love jumping on the trampoline, i love eating popsicles, i love going swimming in the ocean or lake, i love going hiking, i love bicycles, i love sunshine, i love the fourth of july, i love late sunsets and early early sunrises, i love the feeling of a little too much sun on my skin, i love not being able to see when i come inside because outside was so bright, i love the music of the ice cream truck, i love being barefoot, i love flowery dresses, i love restaurants that put tables outside, i love music in the park, i love the sound of the wind in the green green trees, i love watching the farmers' fields grow, i love lying on grandma's quilt in the grass, i love getting woken up by the sun in my window, i love the sound of crickets playing, i love the clear clear starry skies, i love running through the sprinkler, i love walking to sam's store and then to the hukilau. i love summer.

second, i've been living in hawaii. in the past two years, i've had about 40 days that weren't summer, and i like it that way. now i'm in texas, and soon i'll be in israel, and then i'll be in hawaii again. someday i'd like to see autumn again, but boy, do i love summer.

all of these little things of summer make me happy. my eternal summer though, is the little things of life that make every day seem like summer in my soul. and that, my friend, is what this blog is about.
