1.7 miles is a ways to walk. 1.7 miles seems a whole lot longer when you're swimming, or so I figure. I didn't do it, but today my brother did The Long Bridge Swim. This great long bridge (hence the name) goes over a lake to get to town, and there's a big to-do once a year where everybody swims it, excluding me.
