erika collette and alyssa set off on yet another epic adventure
involving three bicycles, two towels, and well, them.

after riding around an entire -what might be called- a corner of oahu, they disembarked at kava roots for acai bowls
then turned around and headed to the most beautiful beach ever seen

the breaking waves were the surest, clearest turquoise
there was a rainbow around the sun
the sand was soft and full of little shells
the sun was bright
and life was good

soaked up the sun for a few hours

then started back for home
the wind must live in the other direction, because it was pretty insistent on going that way

made a pit stop at t-bay
where a very nice gentleman, who shall remain nameless (not for fear of putting his job in jeopardy but because I don't know it) gave us free ice water AND pineapple

over 20 miles and 3 hours later, they pulled into the driveway
fatigued, but victorious
