art, bees and the girls

friday was a fantastic girls night. the group head out to the ohe and hit up the craft store for supplies to make our own ban.do headbands. then, it was stops for jamba and panda (i had the acai antioxidant with granola- i recommend it) and then right on over to the theatre for "the secret life of bees."



my friend fricka (oh i love saying that) had me read the book a few weeks ago, and i absolutely loved it. the movie came out today, and while it could never do the book justice, it was a well-made film. incredible cast, touching story.

fricka is also one of those creative, inspiring people, so i have her to thank for the two headbands i turned out tonight

and today is my fantastic brother's birthday! happy 25th!
