A few weeks into our new French
vie, a few of the assistants took a day trip to Lyon. A picnic in the park that doubles as a free, public zoo (!), then a tour of the covered staircases made by Chinese silk workers and were later used by the
résistance, and then a dinner of
ratatouille and dessert of
fondant chocolat.
Not such a bad way to spend a Saturday.
